BILLING SPECIALIST - (i.e., Handle charge entry, preparation and electronic submission of claims, including follow ups with denials and rejections, e-remit posting, follow ups for all insurance payors, electronic payment posting); Medical coding experience is highly preferred, but not required - certification in coding is a plus! 2. AR SPECIALIST - (i.e., Responsible for the collection and management of outstanding patient accounts for all services including office visits, referrals, surgical procedures, diagnostic testing, etc.) Both Specialist positions require a minimum of one (1) year of direct experience within a medical practice. Experience with billing for Medicare, Medicaid and other third parties is required. Preferred experience is 2-3 years' experience in physician coding and billing. Prior experience with EPIC or other electronic medical records (EMR) a plus. Experience in working with infusion services, infectious disease, hematology and/or oncology highly preferred.
