Seeking Experienced Practice Manager for Growing Pediatric Practice in Vinings, GA

Hands-on Practice Manager needed to oversee day-to-day operations and billing-related processes of our family-friendly 2- doctor Pediatric Practice. This position interacts with the providers and staff in all areas of the practice as well as with external partners including patients, families, vendors, outside accountants, I.T. support and business partners. Requires 4+ years of hands-on experience in medical practice operations, all aspects of credentialing, medical billing and revenue cycle management, skills in personnel management and familiarity with QuickBooks, outside payroll companies and banking.

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the front desk, insurance verification, authorizations, time-of-service collections, coding and charge review, claims submission through clearinghouse, electronic payment posting and support for A/R follow-up and reporting areas
  • Credentialing and licensing renewals with hospitals and third-party payers
  • Implementing office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements
  • Strong people skills including the ability to maintain excellent relations with hospitals and families.
  • Assisting in establishing a culture of excellent customer service and patient centered care including addressing patient issues in a timely and supportive manner
  • Leadership of personnel functions to include overseeing outside payroll, supervision of personnel and staff development.
  • Overall ability to manage a variety of operational and financial responsibilities and contribute to building an efficient, patient-centered atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • 4- years' experience in a medical practice
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Pediatric or Primary Care specialty experience a plus
  • Associate or bachelor's degree a plus.

Work Location:

  • Examining, evaluating, and treating patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, illness or injuries
  • Reviewing medical histories to understand patients’ present health concerns

Requires:

  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program

Position Seeking Billing and Site Manager

Infectious Disease Medical Practice Seeking Experienced Billing and Site Manager Who Will Also Manage our Fayetteville Office Location!

This position is responsible for overseeing the billing functions for our multi-location practice and will interact with the providers, staff and patients, and I.T. support. Requires a minimum of 4-5 years of medical billing experience as well as knowledge of medical practice operations, personnel management and credentialing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership, training and support for all billing functions, and ensuring correct coding, provider enrollment, charge capture, claims submission, follow-up on rejections and denials with both insurance companies and patients.
  • Keeping abreast of third-party regulations and ensuring the practice is accurate and compliant in its billing.
  • Overseeing billing staff at two office locations.
  • Training to ensure physicians and APPs are knowledgeable about coding and billing for Medicare, Medicaid and third-party payors.
  • Training and supervising front desk and clinical staff at our Fayette office and ensuring efficient scheduling, insurance verification, referrals and workflows are efficient and patient centered.
  • Ensuring regulatory requirements for HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Overseeing coding, billing, claims management, payment reconciliation, and accounts receivable processes to support revenue integrity.
  • Ability to partner and work collaboratively with the external billing resource which bills for infusion services.
  • Providing training and support for billing and Fayette staff including performance development, and reviews.

Qualifications Required:

  • Five or more years of progressive management experience in a physician practice or healthcare system setting
  • Foundational understanding of medical billing and physician office operations
  • A bachelor's degree
  • Strong operational, organizational, and experience managing and motivating employees.
  • Familiarity with EPIC and infusion billing a plus

Position Seeking Experienced Medical Credentialing and Enrollment Specialist

Large Medical Practice in Gainesville, GA Seeking Experienced Medical Credentialing and Enrollment Specialist - Available Immediately

The person in this role will be responsible for enrolling medical Providers with hospitals and ASCs and working with our outsourced billing group to enroll our Physicians and APPs with third party payors. Requires 2-5 years prior experience in this role.

The position will also be responsible for on-boarding our physicians and CRNAs including enrollment in benefits, and tracking PTO, and allotments for travel, dues and education. The person in this role must show attention to detail and have a high level of accuracy and follow-up.

Please note, this role is on-site, not remote or hybrid.

Ideal for someone who enjoys working in healthcare and has had prior experience with physician credentialing with both facilities and payors. The person in this role must be well organized, have proficiency with Excel and have outstanding written and verbal communication skills. This individual will also participate in the on-boarding of new providers and must be able to interact in a positive way with Hospital staff, the billing company and our new providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining credentialing database including enrollments with all hospitals, ASCs and Third-Party payors
  • Assisting with benefits administration and onboarding of new staff
  • Working closely with the Practice's outside billing company and providing the information needed for facility and third-party applications.
  • Working closely with outside vendors including health insurance, malpractice, retirement and Payroll company.
  • Proactively following up with the CAQH database, expiration dates, hospital and third-party requirements to ensure enrollments do not lapse.
  • Onboarding of new physicians and staff and enrollment in benefits.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of working in a medical practice, hospital or billing department in a credentialing role; prior experience within a healthcare setting required.
  • Prefer Associates or undergraduate degree in Healthcare, Accounting, Medical Billing, Management or a related field.
  • Experience using an outside payroll service
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and payroll packages a plus
