Seeking Medical Practice Manager/Biller for Urology Practice in Stockbridge GA!

Startup practice seeking an ambitious and dedicated manager to start in August! This position interacts with physicians and staff in all areas of the practice, and with the practice's external partners including referring sources, accountant, advisors, vendors, IT support. Requires 3+ years of experience in medical practice operations, hands on experience in all aspects of credentialing and medical billing, bookkeeping and personnel management including:

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Oversight of day-to-day operations of medical practice including check-in/out, insurance verification, referrals, prior authorizations, managing administrative staff, scheduling and claims submission and follow ups.
  • Strong accounts payable and bookkeeping skills; experience using QuickBooks, working with a payroll service, employee benefits and expense control.
  • Timely contracting, credentialing and licensing renewals with hospitals and third-party payers
  • Leadership of personnel functions including interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees and other H/R related functions.
  • Assisting with establishing a culture of excellent customer service and addressing patient issues in a timely manner.
  • Hands-on experience in all aspects of medical practice operations, including front desk, revenue cycle, authorizations, time-of-service collections, coding, charge review, claims submission through clearinghouse, electronic payment posting, A/R follow-up, month-end close and reporting.
  • Familiarity with wage and hour regulations, excellent leadership and team management skills; experience with personnel, benefits, onboarding, training and staff development.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities; ability to prioritize task.s
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in fast-paced environment with changing demands.

Seeking Experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist for High Volume, Complex Specialty Practice in Atlanta!

Seeking experienced AR Specialists to be responsible for timely collections for outstanding claims. This person will communicate with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies, update records, and ensure proper billing.

The duties and responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Accurate verification of all insurance benefits, and entry of new or updated insurance information for all patient accounts
  • Communicating with patients and payers to request payment and arrange payment plans
  • Collecting payments from patients or payers and accurately recording them in the system
  • Updating client accounts based on payment or contact information
  • Research and follow up on authorization denials
  • Must be able to handle high volume, multiple tasks and organize multiple files simultaneously
  • Prior experience in a complex specialty/infusion/oncology/pharmacy setting highly preferred

Experience with billing for Medicare, Medicaid and other third parties is required. A minimum of 2 years' experience in physician billing is highly preferred. Computer skills in Excel a plus. Prior experience with Centricity or other electronic medical records (EMR) highly preferred!

Prior health care experience within Oncology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Infectious Diseases, Pharmacy and/or Infusion experience required!
