Senior Associate - Director of Legal and Regulatory Strategies
Todd Lindsey joined Medical Management Associates in 2013. Mr. Lindsey's expertise in regulatory and compliance issues includes ambulatory surgery center strategy and development including state regulatory issues (CON & LNR applications), state licensure, Medicare certification, and third party accreditation. Mr. Lindsey also has extensive experience consulting on a variety of healthcare risk management issues including adverse event management, medical malpractice issues, and risk management/quality assurance program development.
As a member of Medical Management Associates' operations team, Mr. Lindsey performs practice reviews, operational analysis, compensation reviews, practice start-ups, financial analysis and process improvement. He has extensive project experience with workflow process engineering and process improvement as well as experience developing process improvement training curricula for audiences from healthcare executives to front-line staff.
Mr. Lindsey earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Georgia. He also earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Washington and Lee University and a Master of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. Mr. Lindsey's experience includes positions in corporate and local hospital administration, physician practices, and healthcare and regulatory focused law firms. He has also completed the Lean Healthcare Certificate Program through Belmont University's Massey School of Business.
Mr. Lindsey enjoys volunteering for community organizations having served as co-chairperson for Shepherd Center's Junior Committee and frequently participating in Hosea Feed the Hungry. He is also an avid outdoor enthusiast focusing primarily on snow skiing, whitewater kayaking, and long-distance bicycle touring. When he's not traveling or cooking backyard BBQ, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their Labrador Retriever.
